- Strategic visions of Europe in the world (around 5 visions of Europe as normative power / world economic center / continent with borders / archipelago of attractive places / the EU).
- National visions of Europe in the world (comparison between 12 national visions of Europe in the world: from Member States / Candidate and neighboring countries / Africa and Southern America / China and India).
- Mental maps as pedagogic tools for dialogue (Pedagogical toolkit for better understanding between nations inside and outside EU).
Mental maps - Main results
This page presents the main results of the Work Package related to the mental maps of students survey. 9341 questionnaires were collected in 18 countries and 43 cities over the world, to an audience of college students in several disciplines. An original matter was to draw the limits of continents and European union, with specific ways to treat the results.
Migrants and Borders (WP3 research group)
The WP 'Migrants and borders' aims to collect the representation of Europe of a specific sample of population: migrants and potential migrants on two main migration route toward European Union. The first one is oriented North-South from sub-Saharan Africa toward Europe passing through North Africa and Mediterranean Sea. The second one comes from Asia (China, South East Asia) toward Europe through central Asia and Turkey.

This part of the project aims to produce a non Eurocentric perception of the world. To do this, a survey is conducted on undergraduate students of different countries in the world. The questionnaire asks them about their perception of the world and we have to check if in this world representation, something emerges that could be identified as Europe and what place it is allotted to this area. The survey takes place at least in the 11 partner's countries with some extension in other relevant countries.
